Dancer is one of the Gibson County mares from the Stallings seizure last may. She gave birth to a little filly on May 4. Bambi seems to be doing great. She is nursing and everything looks good. Dr. Beckman will be out this afternoon to check on her and make sure she has gotten enough colestrum from momma. You can click on this link to see more pics of Dancer and Bambi.

Indiana Horse Rescue South is the Southern Equine Division of Animal Protection Coalition, Inc a charitable, 501(c)3 non profit, equine rescue shelter for abused, neglected and unwanted horses. The southern equine facility is located in New Salisbury, IN., just 25 miles northwest of Louisville, KY..

Indiana Horse Rescue has served and helped animals and their humans all over Indiana, surrounding states and many of America's Mustangs.

We would love to have you visit our facility!  If you can't, please sit down and look through our website!  You can read about some of the great horses we have had here and also those we could only love before letting them pass to greener pastures.  You can make difference in a horses life too!  Sponsor a horse for a few months - come out and visit him or her to see how much love they give back!  We can only do this with your help!  Check out the How You Can Help pages for some ideas on how you can help the animals by making a donation, shopping on line, giving a gift of a membership or buying a magnet!

.  All donations are tax deductible as allowed by law or your personal circumstances.

A Tribute to A Horse Named Buster!
Buster Brown touched the hearts of many here at the rescue.  His life was short lived, but he worked wonders with the kids. Buster you are missed by many.
